It is the mission of the Siskiyou County Air Pollution Control District to protect the health, welfare, and quality of life of County residents and visitors by maintenance of good air quality through control of air pollutant emissions with fair and effective implementation of air quality regulations.
The Siskiyou County Air Pollution Control District was formed on October 27,1970 by Board of Supervisors Resolution # 267.
