Robert V. Cloyd, age 43, passed away on July 15, 2024. Born on June 7, 1981, Robert was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend. He is survived by his mother Joanna, his brothers Cody and Desmond, his sister Shastina, his grandma Georgia, his two uncles James and Mark, his aunt Stephanie, and his three sons, Dylan, Cameron, and Skylar.
Robert obtained his GED and began working in general labor jobs to support his family. Robert spent much of his life enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. He had a deep passion for fishing, camping, and exploring nature. His love for the wilderness was only matched by his love for his family, with whom he cherished spending time.
Robert had a profound interest in his Native American heritage and found great joy in learning about and honoring his ancestry. Among his many talents, he was skilled in woodworking, creating beautiful jewelry boxes that were admired by all who saw them.
Robert’s presence, warmth, and creativity will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to nature and his cultural roots. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
