There’s a good argument that, if the insurance industry won’t touch this risk because it doesn’t make sense at any economic level, why should Oregon taxpayers be forced to underwrite liability risks that experts in the insurance industry won’t touch?
So what does the Oregon government do?
They reach into the back pockets of Oregon taxpayers for the money.
