MT. SHASTA, CA — Redwood Gallery invites the community to celebrate the opening of The Flower Show, its inaugural Community Art Exhibition, with a free public reception on Saturday, May 2, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The exhibition will remain on view through Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the gallery located at 209 N Mt. Shasta Blvd, Mt. Shasta, CA 96067. Admission is free.
The Flower Show brings together 19 artists from across Siskiyou County in a celebration of the beauty, symbolism, and joy of flowers. The exhibition features an exceptional range of original works — from watercolors, acrylics, and oil paintings to block prints, digital artwork, photography, colored pencil, fiber art, and fiber sculpture — offering something for every art lover. The show includes works by seasoned, well-known local artists alongside pieces by first-time exhibitors, making it a true reflection of the breadth and vitality of the local creative community.

Exhibiting Artists
This year’s exhibiting artists include: Nadine Aiello, Kim Angers, Sheila Browder, Sarah Hagen, Patty Hood, Seth Avery Jeanty-Schouten, Robin Aisha Landsong, RaChil Luke, Isadora Maria, Sean McCandless, Chris Messer, Maria Miller, Derek Miller, Paula Palmer, Jacqueline Parker, Dharani Perera, Joan Shepard, Sulena Sivananda, and Kate Yorke.
The gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday, 1:00–5:00 p.m. throughout the run of the show. Admission is free and no tickets are required. The community is warmly encouraged to attend the opening reception and visit anytime during gallery hours.
