The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office and the Siskiyou County Office of Emergency Services have announced a new series of public safety town halls for Spring/Summer 2026, with six locations confirmed and additional dates to come.
All meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. The confirmed schedule is:
- April 27 (Monday) — Dunsmuir
- May 5 (Tuesday) — Dorris
- May 7 (Thursday) — Forks of Salmon
- May 13 (Wednesday) — Happy Camp
- May 27 (Wednesday) — Tulelake
- May 28 (Thursday) — Hornbrook
The Sheriff’s Office noted that last year’s series included nine town halls countywide, where residents were able to discuss public safety concerns and emergency preparedness ahead of fire season. Officials say the meetings give community members a direct opportunity to speak with the Sheriff, ask questions, and discuss solutions to local issues.
Additional dates and locations are expected to be announced.
