For her senior project, Annabelle Yokel chose to give back in a truly special way by creating a Quilt of Valor. The Quilt of Valor Foundation honors veterans through handmade quilts that symbolize comfort, gratitude, and appreciation for their service.
Over the past several months, Annabelle dedicated countless hours to sewing and quilting her project with care and intention. During yesterday’s academic assembly, she proudly presented her finished quilt to EHS maintenance worker, Mike Casey.
The quilt serves as a heartfelt symbol of Mr. Casey’s dedication and service to our country, as well as his unwavering commitment to our school community.
Thank you, Annabelle, for your hard work and generosity — and thank you, Mr. Casey, for all that you do for EHS!
