Driver Escapes with Minor Injuries After Rollover Accident

YREKA, Calif. โ A big rig hauling sewage overturned on State Route 96 near Horse Creek in a solo vehicle crash that resulted in a partial spill of its contents, according to the California Highway Patrol Yreka office.
CHP officers responded to the scene of the rollover accident, where they quickly assessed the situation involving the commercial vehicle and its hazardous cargo.
The driver of the sewage truck was able to escape the overturned vehicle and sustained only minor injuries in the incident. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The accident resulted in a partial spill of the sewage load, Caltrans and tow operators made a swift cleanup.
