Judy Ann Griffith Combs, age 76, of Redding, California, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born on July 6, 1949, in Dunsmuir, California, Judy was one of two children born to Alice and Kenneth Griffith.
Judy married Kelly Combs January 2nd, 1987. Together they built a life including being partners in business.
They enjoyed boating together and then went on to RV for many years also. They also enjoyed going to the Indianapolis 500 with her cousins.
She is survived by her husband of almost 39 years, Kelly Combs; her stepchildren, Deena Combs-Flores and Kelly Combs, Jr.; her niece and nephew Raylene and Ronald Griffith; her grandchildren Jared Monteiro, Drew Monteiro, Audrey Kimbrough, Elise Monteiro, Sharlene Byrd, Samantha Byrd, Sarah Walker, and Ryan Monteiro, as well as 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Ronald.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Alice and Kenneth Griffith as well as her stepdaughter Kristina Byrd.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Shasta Memorial Park, 830 Lassen Ln., Mt. Shasta, California 96067, with a reception to follow at the Tree House Restaurant, 111 Morgan Way, Mt. Shasta, California 96067.
Judy will be remembered for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
