Saturday, August 23rd is absolutely packed with activities – headlined by California’s Premier Open Rodeo!

๐Ÿค  The Big Event: Don’t miss the Jefferson State Stampede – California’s premier open rodeo happening August 23rd! This is the weekend’s marquee event that draws visitors from across the region.

Morning Adventures: Start your day early with the Rollin-in-Weed Car & Bike Show (7 AM) – a perfect opportunity to check out some impressive rides before heading to the rodeo. If you prefer a more relaxed morning, Summer Fun Dayskicks off at 9 AM, and the College of the Siskiyous Foundation Community Flea Market opens at the same time for treasure hunters and bargain seekers.

Afternoon Highlights: Animal lovers won’t want to miss the FREE ADOPTION DAY at Siskiyou Humane Society (12:30 PM) – sponsored by ASPCA’s Rescue Effect program. This is a wonderful chance to find your new furry family member!

For the bookworms, the Silent Book Club meets at 1:30 PM (perfect for introverts who love reading in company), while creative types can head to Lone Pine Blooms at 2 PM to build their own custom bouquet.

Sunday, August 24th offers a more spiritual and entertainment-focused lineup:

Golf enthusiasts can take advantage of Sunday Funday specials all day, while those seeking deeper experiences can join the SOL Awakening Retreat (11:11 AM) or the Mount Shasta Desert Revival camp-out retreat starting at noon.

End your weekend with entertainment – catch Movie Night at 6 PM or experience live music with SALINAS ROAD in concert at 8 PM for a perfect Sunday evening finale.
