Favorable weather conditions in place for hazardous fuels reduction work
Redding, Calif., The Shasta-Trinity National Forest is planning prescribed fire operations this Tuesday, April 22, 2025. We estimate this work to be an one day event with 2-4 days of continued work and cleanup. We use prescribed fires to help reduce overgrown vegetation to help protect local communities, infrastructure and natural resources from wildfires.
