Johnathan (Johnny) Michael Hopkins, beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather passed away unexpectedly at the age of 38 on March 30, 2025 in Lewiston ID where he was currently residing.
Born December 5, 1986 in Anaheim, CA Johnny was the only son of Patty Stone and Chris Hopkins and brother to two sisters Nikki Jones and Jenny Simon. He was a proud brother, son, and father, who was filled with love and joy that filled the hearts of his family and friends.
Johnny was a loving father to three children. He was known for his joyful soul and charismatic laugh that filled the room when he walked in. He touched so many lives in ways he never realized, and helped uplift those around him. At the age of 20, Johnny welcomed his first daughter into this world who instantly became his whole world. Kaydence was the first grandchild and brought a joy and love to Johnny and her mom Amanda that was nothing short of incredible. 10 years later Johnny and Amarea welcomed their first daughter Willow and just a little over a year later welcomed their final daughter Harper. His girls were his world and he loved them with everything inside him. Johnny also assumed the role of step father to Tyler. Johnny cared for, loved, and help shape each of his children.
Johnny grew up in Yreka Ca where he lived a life of adventure. He loved being outdoors with friends and his sisters doing anything that involved go-go-go. He had a love for skateboarding, snowboarding, bike riding, fishing, camping, and baseball. If it was adventurous he was down, and made so many friends in the process. Friends that became family. Johnny’s life was full of love and laughter that will be missed by all who knew him. His memory will be carried through his children, family, and friends. He will be forever cherished in our hearts.
Johnny is survived by his three daughters – Kaydence, Willow and Harper; Grandson – Kohen; Parents – Patty and Chris; Grandfather – Wally; Sisters – Nikki and Jenny.
There will be a memorial service held for Johnny in Yreka, CA on May 24, 2025 at the Yreka Church of the Nazarene. Service time 1:00pm
