Linda Lee Burke Grafmiller went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, on her 82nd birthday. Born Linda Lee Fowler to Berthel Archer and TJ Fowler on February 25, 1943, she grew up in Lomita, CA with her sisters Jackie & Vickie. She met and married Arthur Timothy Burke in the late 1960’s. In 1971, they and their blended family moved to Etna, CA where they raised their children before moving to Yreka to open their business, Tim Burke’s Restaurant. For 17 years, the walls of the establishment were adorn with her talented paintings and filled with the laughter of gathering regulars. Sometime later, she was a welcoming smile to those she worked with at Walmart for 15 years. A long time Siskiyou County resident, Linda was loved by many in the community. Spending quality time with her friends and family was what she held dear to her heart. She had the strength and perseverance to take on the world and the style to look impeccable while she did it.
Linda is preceded in death by her late husband, Tim Burke and her son-in-law, Jim Nash. She is survived by her children, Christy Facey (Bob), Cari Brown (Tony), Cheri Nash and Alan Timothy Burke; her grandchildren Tabitha Smith, Aiko Rose, Erika Fennell (Peter), Seth Placzek (Jessica), Rachel York (Josh), and Joseph Yearsley; and her husband, Dean Grafmiller. She also loved her 14 great grandchildren and her 2 great great grandchildren.
Out of respect for the departed wishes, there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, Linda has asked that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation at msfocus.org.
