Klamath National Forest Seeking Input on OHV Grant Application

YREKA, Calif., Feb. 24, 2025 โ€” The Klamath National Forest welcomes public input to develop a grant applications for State of California off-highway vehicle, also known as OHV, recreation funds.

The Klamath National Forest is developingย California State Parks Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division Grant Programย preliminary grant applications this cycle to support trail maintenance, law enforcement patrols, and other work in support of OHV trails there.

Public comments may be submitted for consideration by the following methods:

  • Online by reviewing the forestโ€™s preliminary grant applicationย beginning March 4ย atย olga.ohv.parks.ca.gov/egrams_ohmvrย with a deadline for public commentsย on May 6.
  • Mail to Klamath National Forest, 1711 S. Main Street, Yreka, CA 96097, Attention: Law Enforcement OHV Grantย by May 5.
  • Email toย [email protected]ย with subject line โ€œLaw Enforcement OHV Grant.โ€ Comments must be receivedย by May 5.

Forest staff will use the public comments received for consideration as they develop the final grant application for submission in June.
