Must be quite the tales behind those jail walls.

A murder shook Montague when 61-year-old Robin Turner was charged with murder – no bail allowed.

Speaking of tales, young Angel Tejeda (19) from Bakersfield thought Dunsmuir was a good place for a drug operation, it wasn’t.

Trevor Hanson won this week’s frequent guest award – booked twice in three days! First for a shopping spree gone wrong at Raleys, then found wandering Main Street. At least he’s consistent.

Local businesses played host to a game of musical chairs – with Robert Nelson collecting trespassing charges at the truck stop, Ace Hardware, KFC, and McDonald’s. Someone get this man a loyalty card.

And in the “wrong turn” department, our Bay Area visitor Vysak Venkateswaren discovered SisQ isn’t quite like Oakland – especially when you’re driving under the influence.

The week wrapped up with Jeffrey Wilkinson facing serious charges including kidnapping. Because apparently some folks still haven’t learned that crime isn’t a Choose Your Own Adventure book.

At least small-town charm remains intact – where else would you get arrested at a Carl’s Jr at 2:45 in the morning?
