Monday, January 13, 2025
In the early morning hours, Siskiyou County Sheriff’s deputies encountered Christine Duman, age 40, on Interstate 5 near Easy Street. Deputies arrested Duman for allegedly providing false identification to peace officers and driving under the influence. After processing, she was released the same day pending court proceedings.
Later that morning, Yreka Police Department officers responded to a shoplifting call at 115 Center Street, leading to the arrest of Robert Rainbow Nelson, age 52. Nelson faced charges of shoplifting and petty theft with prior convictions. He remained in custody for two days.
The afternoon brought a domestic violence call resulting in the arrest of Devon Warren Boisvert, age 41, by SCSO deputies on Minnesota Avenue. Boisvert posted $5,000 bail and was released the same day with domestic battery charges pending.
As Monday drew to a close, YPD officers apprehended Aaron Matthew Comer, age 44, on Pine Street. Comer had multiple outstanding failure to appear warrants with combined bail totaling $30,000. He remained in custody until January 14.

The day began with Jason William Martinez, age 45, of Tulelake, turning himself in at the jail lobby on DUI charges. In a separate incident, Dawn Renae Sargent, age 56, of Fort Jones, was taken into custody by YPD officers on North Main Street for alleged contempt of court and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sargent’s bail was set at $5,000.

The middle of the week brought significant law enforcement activity across the county. Jay Christian Medeiros, age 51, of Weed, was taken into custody on multiple outstanding warrants, including charges of identity theft. His case highlighted a complex investigation involving several jurisdictions.
In a separate case, John Michael Basulto, age 35, visiting from Santa Ana, faced serious charges when he was arrested on two warrants: a failure to appear on felony charges requiring $15,000 bail, and a probation violation with an additional $25,000 bail requirement.
A coordinated drug enforcement operation in Mount Shasta led to multiple arrests at 411 West Lake Street around 2:19 AM. Officers took into custody:
- Jimmy Henry Gutierrez, age 20, from Rodeo
- David Daniel Hernandez, age 22, from San Leandro
- Heather Lynn Weidner, age 43, from Weed
All three individuals faced similar charges related to narcotics sales and transportation. This operation represented a significant effort to address drug trafficking concerns in the Mount Shasta area.
As evening approached, Seth Joseph Huffman, age 27, a Mount Shasta resident, was apprehended on multiple failure to appear warrants. The combined bail for Huffman’s warrants totaled $50,000, reflecting the serious nature of his previous charges.

The day began with Gregory Scott Page, age 63, of McCloud, processing through the jail lobby on drug-related charges. Page’s case was handled as a court-ordered booking and release.
In what became one of the day’s most significant cases, Brock Ethan Mathie, age 20, from Weed, was arrested following an incident at Oberlin Road and Main Street. Mathie faced serious charges including:
- Evading peace officers with wanton disregard for safety
- Assault with a deadly weapon against a peace officer
His bail was set at $30,000.
Terra Dawn Stanley, age 41, from Yreka, was taken into custody at Hawkinsville Hornbrook Road for alleged probation violations. Her case represented ongoing efforts to maintain compliance with court-ordered supervision.

The Yreka Police Department began the day by arresting Andrea Joyce Ashby, age 43, at Junction, Yreka. Ashby faced multiple charges including shoplifting and battery, with combined bail amounts reaching $20,500.
A significant drug enforcement operation led to the arrest of Chanphansy Sek, age 41, at Wakefield Avenue in Weed. Sek faced multiple charges including:
- Possession of controlled substances for sale
- Maintaining a place for drug sales
Bail was set at $20,000.
Saturday and Sunday, January 18-19, 2025
Weekend operations brought several notable arrests. Aaron Benjamin Boatright, age 29, from Klamath Falls, Oregon, faced serious charges including narcotic possession and interstate transportation. This case highlighted ongoing cross-jurisdictional efforts to combat drug trafficking.
Vincent Louis Brennan, age 42, of Montague, was arrested at Foothill Drive and Juniper on multiple drug-related charges. His case was processed through the court’s alternative sentencing program.
