Does Wasting $200-Million of Your Tax Dollars Annually Concern You?
Maybe not if you’re a agency administrator or a legislator whose grown accustomed to spending other people’s money without a second thought.
That’s not to suggest all these folks are reckless with tax-dollars. But there are plenty who are spending our taxes without a care… they treat American taxpayers like an endless supply of grapes to be squeezed for more juice when they run-out.
Hard Questions We Must Not Turn Away From
Should we, as Americans start taking action against the stench of corrupt government agencies and politicians that have departed so far from their sworn oaths and duty to serve Americans and their Constitutional Republic that they are verging on being ‘evil’? We need more good people to stand-up and serve our fellow Americans.
Does the documented vicious and inhumane abuse of a sentient being (protected American wild horse), with a brain 2/3 the size of a human brain, with loving family structures, concern you? What does that alone say about our ‘modern’ society’s supposed ‘humanity’? And when will that erosion of humanity spin-around on us, and start impacting all of us, and our family and friends?
Does the ongoing wildlife-herbivory mismanagement leading to the reduction of the native and wild herbivory that controls wildfire fuels trouble you?
The Facts – And Supporting Science (the links are important)
It’s a scientific fact that the loss of the North American herbivory (declines in deer, elk and wild horses) over the past decades has led to abnormally high levels of highly flammable grass and brush fuels that instigate and fuel over 60% of all wildfires.
By comparing the two graphs below (collapse of the deer over the past few decades, and increase of wildfire, we see graphically there is a definite correlation. When herbivores decline, wildfires get worse.
If you’re not alarmed by this massive annual waste and malfeasance, maybe the Bureau of Land Management (‘BLM’) will have the time to figure-out how to increase that wasteful spending on the National Embarrassment the BLM calls ‘wild horse management’. And in the process, increase the amount of deadly grass and brush wildfire fuels, so that even more money can be spent on fighting wildfires, calling it ‘suppression’.
Even though this short NBC news video is from 2013, it could easily be from yesterday, because the same exact issues have continued unabated and are now WORSE and more costly than ever!
Instead of stepping-back from their longstanding management failure, and looking for a new management paradigm, the BLM has doubled-down on their lies, malfeasance and mismanagement, which is driving a massive waste of American tax-dollars. They are not following science.

I have, on numerous occasions, over the past 6-years, presented to the BLM and the USFS, a proven, science-supported,cash-positive method and plan for managing American wild horses that is humane, nature-based and sustainable. We can only hope the when Donald J. Trump is sworn into office, the grift of American tax dollars will end…
Furthermore, my Plan called the Natural Wildfire Abatement and Forest Protection Plan (aka: Wild Horse Fire Brigade) creates more grazing for the livestock industry, eliminates the 30-year-long range war between wild horse advocates and ranchers, and as an added benefit, reduces the frequency, size and intensity of catastrophic wildfires and impacts of toxic smoke. It’s a win-win solution for wild horse lovers too, because wild horses get to live naturally, wild & free as intended by the Federal Act signed by President Richard Nixon.
The positive economic benefits on the wildfire side of my Plan’s equation (central to the mission of our all-volunteer nonprofit called ‘Wild Horse Fire Briagde‘) proposes a logical impact of 3-5% results in herbivory reduction of wildfire fuels and ongoing maintenance that adds an additional $300-500 Million/year in savings to the economy via a reduction in the frequency, size and intensity of wildfires, and toxic smoke.
Additional benefits of the Wild Horse Fire Brigade plan include the incalculable value of saving forests, wildlife and watersheds, and protecting Americans from the deadly health impacts of deadly wildfire smoke.
More on the Death Toll by wildfire smoke (at distance from fire) from a new UCLA Study that shows 5,000 Californians each year died prematurely due to wildfire smoke! The economic costs of those premature deaths (55,000 Californians over 11-years) was estimated at over $400-Billion!
Trophic rewilding of herbivores, is well known to naturally and cost-effectively reduce wildfire fuels, and reduce wildfires:

Prescribed burning cannot even begin to scale-up as a practical, cost-effective solution on the 300-million acres choked with wildfire fuels (grass and brush) in the western United States.
People and Orgs who are suggesting prescribed burning (aka: RxFire) as a ‘solution’ are merely not doing the math.
At it’s very best, RxFire is a questionable and risky measure, as evidenced by the $-billions in economic losses and adverse human and wildlife impacts when they get out of control, and boy do they!. I am a nominee (currently in 6th place for all jobs in the sector of ‘Environment & Natural Resources‘ at the Kennedy MAHA Peoples Nominations, established by Robert Kennedy in collaboration with President-elect Trump to find and fill the 4,000+ plus government jobs that will be opening-up when he’s sworn-in on Jan. 20th, 2025.
I am seeking to serve American taxpayers as the Director of the BLM or Division head of the Wild Horse and Burro Program (the BLM keeps changing names of titles). On the Kennedy-Trump collaboration: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/rfk-jr-launches-online-forum-crowdsource-names-4000-trump-administration-nomineesABC News-8 Reno Nevada recently broke this news story about my Nomination and my Plan to end the wasteful and inhumane wild horse management practices at the BLM: https://www.kolotv.com/2024/12/13/owner-northern-california-non-profit-looking-make-federal-change-through-blm/
The falsehoods and propaganda that are promoted openly by the BLM are shameful and are harmful to American taxpayers and are designed to support their reckless, inhumane management of iconic American wild horses. They must be held into account for their actions.
It’s important to note that the total population of iconic American wild horses managed by the BLM remaining today as wild and free horses is just 59,000 horses based-on the May 2024 BLM census. Since May, another 10,000 have been exterminated, leaving maybe 50,000 wild horses, with many of those Sterilized! As of now, we have more wild horses incarcerated in taxpayer-funded feed lots, than there are wild & free!
Here are a couple of the blatant falsehoods & frauds that the BLM is hoping will keep fooling taxpayers:
1. One page 1, paragraph 5 of the Summary of BLM’s so-called Wild Horse & Burro Management Plan, is the blatant falsehood stating “Wild Horses have no natural predators”. In later publications the BLM is creeping towards the truth that condemns their past misrepresentation by stating the have ‘virtually no natural predators’.
However, the most recent peer-reviewed published studies show that that BLM’s statements are manifestly false.
That Study stated:
“Diets of cougars in the Great Basin were composed predominantly of horses (59.6%, n = 460 prey items; 13 individuals). Ten cougars regularly consumed horses, and horses were the most abundant prey in the diet of 8 additional individuals in the Great Basin.”
As with this foregoing cited Study, we see similar predation rates by Mountain Lions here at our research site.
2. The BLM ‘Appropriate Management Level’ (aka: ‘AML’) is the ecologically proper number of wild horses allowable in a given habitat, and is based in science.
The foregoing statement #2 and #1) by the BLM are blatant frauds being perpetrated on American taxpayers.
There is nothing scientifically or ecologically ‘appropriate’ about the BLM’s so-called ‘AMLs’. The truth is that ‘AML’ is merely an Arbitrary Management Level, for assigning their desired population of horses in a given habitat (areas called Herd Management Areas – ‘HMAs’). The established AML for a given HMA is heavily weighted and influenced by political and economic considerations.
Most often, where the BLM’s so-called AML has determined the number of genetically intact American wild horses in BLM managed HMAs, wild horse populations are reduced to levels (numbers of breeding horses) that no longer support genetic diversity and the true conservation of American-owned (the public’s) wild horses. When wild horses populations in a given habitat (HMA) are below 500 adult horses, inbreeding can occur according to leading researchers.
The ‘Bureau of Large Mistakes‘, as I like to call them, is shockingly run by a woman (Tracy Stone-Manning) who was implicated in a criminal event where trees were spiked (a Federal offense on USFS lands) leading to a logger being severely injured. She was recently brought up before a Congressional Committee and questioned on that event. According to Senator Josh Hawley, she lied to Congress.
In fact, in many Herd Management Areas (HMAs), the BLM has reduced American wild horse populations to well below what their own ‘Wild Horse and Burro Management Handbook’ states as the floor of the allowable population, which is “150-200” adult horses to have 50 breeding horses. However, the BLM’s own Handbook was based upon a designed management outcome, which leads to genetic erosion and genetic bottlenecking.
The International Union For Conservation of Nature (IUCN), a body of scientists, has stated that the number of free-roaming wild horses in any given herd area habitat must be as follows to preserve genetic conservation:
Speaking for myself, I want to know that when I am gone from this life, there will be abundant forests, rivers, clean air and the iconic American Wild Horses that helped make our Country great, left for my grandchildren, and their grandchildren.
