YREKA – Another crop of future fair exhibitors will be entered for their first fair event, the beloved Lane Street Children’s Center Diaper Derby, to be held on Sunday, August 11th, at 1:00 pm
at the Siskiyou Credit Union Mall Stage.
Every year, parents bring their tiny tots to compete in the “beginning fair exhibitor and patron contest” that begins a lifetime love affair with the Siskiyou Golden Fair. There is no doubt that parents, grandparents, siblings, and other team members are often much more entertaining than the babies themselves. All babies under 18 months of age are eligible to enter. Entry forms are available at the fair office anytime up to 15 minutes prior to the derby. All forms must be returned to the office by 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, August 11th to be eligible for this annual event.
All participants receive ribbons and the final heat competitors will win a great stuffed. The champion will take home a $50 gift card from Lane Street Children’s Center.
