Join a historic celebration in returning the Karuk Dugout Canoe to the Klamath River! Community members have been working on returning the canoe to Karuk waters for decades, and now it is finally happening. There will be canoe rides, carvers will be present, and we will provide food and drinks. Organizers and organizations of the event will be present to answer any questions.
This event is a culmination of a dugout canoe workshop series held in May at three different Karuk communities.
This historic event should not be missed!
