The wonderful inaugural “Operation Appreciation” – an event for the public to meet and interact with the dedicated law enforcement officers who keep Siskiyou County safe.

Attendees had the opportunity to:
- Meet officers from across the county
- Check out impressive displays of equipment and vehicles
- Watch exciting live demonstrations
- Learn about the important work these brave men and women perform daily
Kids especially enjoyed exploring police cars, talking to K-9 officers, and collecting badge stickers. The Search and Rescue demonstration of a wilderness rescue scenario was a big hit.

This is sure to become an annual tradition and a fantastic way for residents to get to know their local law enforcement. Looking forward to Operation Appreciation 2025 already!
