Preliminary Draft Emergency Regulation Scott River & Shasta River Watershed

The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) Division of Water Rights (Division) is proposing an Emergency Regulation to, among other things, re-establish minimum instream flows in the Scott River and Shasta River watersheds and provide authority to curtail water rights. preliminary draft emergency regulation is available for review and comment. Staff note that a proposed emergency regulation for consideration by the State Water Board will likely differ from this preliminary draft based on the comments and input received. Please see the Notice for details on the November 14, 2023, virtual meeting related to the preliminary draft emergency regulation and how to provide comments by the November 16, 2023, deadline.
