SCSO Press Release
The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) has arrested a woman in connection with the shooting death of her cohabitant over the weekend in Montague, California.
At 12:04 p.m. on Saturday, February 8th, SCSO Deputies were dispatched to the 5900 Block of Jade Ave in Montague for the report of a deceased person. Upon arrival, a Sheriff’s Sergeant met the reporting party, Robin Ray Turner, aged 61, in front of her residence.
Turner stated she had used a firearm to shoot Michael Richard Massey, aged 71. Massey was located deceased inside the residence with numerous gunshot wounds.
Members of the SCSO Major Crimes Unit responded and took over the investigation. Robin Turner was arrested for murder and was booked into the Siskiyou County Jail.
