SISKIYOU COUNTY JAIL BOOKINGS- Booking Recap, June 1–June 8, 2026

From the Desk — Twenty-eight names this week, and Interstate 5 once again did the heavy lifting, delivering a steady northbound supply of motorists who discovered that the Highway Patrol works nights. The standout entrepreneurial venture belongs to two Hayward residents found tending a garden at a place called the Cinder Pit — a location that, in fairness, advertises its own outcome. Elsewhere, the week’s most committed practitioners of the deferred court date made their customary appearances: one Greenview man arrived carrying five failure-to-appear warrants, a Yreka woman three felony ones, proving that in Siskiyou County, the surest way to guarantee a court appearance is to skip enough of them. And in the category of plans that fold quickly, a Dinuba man was booked for attempting to bring a controlled substance into the one building in the county least likely to overlook it.

The following individuals were booked into the Siskiyou County Jail during the period indicated. An arrest or booking is not a conviction. All persons named below are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges are as listed by the arresting agency at the time of booking and may be amended, reduced, or dismissed.

ATWATER, ISAAC M., 26, of Tacoma, Wash. Arrested by the California Highway Patrol on June 1 northbound on Interstate 5 and booked on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol (M). Released the following day.
