Donna Smith, 89, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026 in Yreka.
Donna was born on December 16, 1936, in Greene County, Iowa to Margaret and Floyd Fountain. She was raised on the family farm and was proud to still own a piece of her family’s farmland in Iowa. Donna met Robert (Bob) Smith in Jefferson, Iowa and the two were wed on July 6, 1958. In 1960, shortly after the birth of their daughter, Lu Ann, Bob and Donna moved to Yreka, where they have lived for the past 66 years.
