The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office reported 46 bookings between Feb. 9 and Feb. 17, 2026. Among the notable arrests were a Mt. Shasta man booked on four felony counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with minors, and a Happy Camp man arrested for failing to update his sex offender registration while also facing charges of possessing obscene material depicting minors in sexual acts. CHP and local law enforcement agencies made multiple DUI arrests throughout the reporting period. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Santiago De Jesus Sanchez Aguilar, 32, of Earlimart, was arrested Feb. 11 by the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office on the I-5 at Hilt on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale (felony) and transportation of a controlled substance (felony). He was also booked on a Tulare County warrant for failure to appear on a written promise. Bail was set at $25,000. He was released Feb. 14. Court date: Feb. 24, 2026.
Jennifer L. Allen, 46, of Montague, was arrested Feb. 13 by the Probation Department on Nugget Way, Yreka, on suspicion of probation violation — rearrest/revoke (felony) and inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant/dating partner — aggravated (felony). Bail was set at $50,000. Court date: Feb. 16, 2026.
Johnny A. Andrade, 46, of Lucerne Valley, was arrested Feb. 13 by Weed Police at NB I-5 at Central Ave. on suspicion of DUI — any drug (misdemeanor). He was released the same day. Court date: April 14, 2026.
Elijah J. Bartholomew, 29, of McCloud, was arrested Feb. 16 by the District Attorney’s Office in Mt. Shasta on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant/dating partner — simple (felony). Bail was set at $50,000. Court date: Feb. 18, 2026.
Michael A. Beals Sr., 45, of Happy Camp, was arrested Feb. 14 by the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office at the Oak View area on suspicion of trespass — occupying property without consent (misdemeanor) and disorderly conduct — loitering on private property (misdemeanor). He was released the same day. Court date: March 24, 2026.
John P. Bell Jr., 28, of Weed, was arrested Feb. 9 by Weed Police on Main St. on suspicion of disorderly conduct — alcohol (misdemeanor) and on a warrant for failure to appear on a written promise (misdemeanor). He was released the same day. Court date: March 3, 2026.
Evan R. Burcell, 67, of Happy Camp, was arrested Feb. 11 by the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office in Happy Camp on suspicion of failing to update his annual sex offender registration (felony) and possession of obscene material depicting a minor in a sexual act (felony). Bail was set at $50,000. Court date: Feb. 24, 2026.

Comer, 43, of Dunsmuir, was arrested Feb. 10 by the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office at the Siskiyou County Jail lobby on multiple warrants, including two bench warrants for failure to appear on felony charges ($20,000 bail each) issued by the Siskiyou County Sheriff and District Attorney, and multiple failure to appear warrants ($5,000 bail each) issued by the Siskiyou County Sheriff, Siskiyou DA, and CHP Mt. Roseanna Angelica-Kay Crosland, 28, of Yreka, was arrested Feb. 9 by Yreka Police at S. Jordan A. Dapsis, 25, of Mt. Shasta, turned himself in Feb. 9 to the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office on four felony counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor — two counts charging the victim as more than three years younger, and two counts charging the perpetrator as 21 or older and the victim as under 16.
