On January 31, 2026, a peaceful sidewalk anti-ICE, anti-Trump protest was held for a couple of hours in front of the Health and Human Services building on Main Street in Yreka. We had about 45 people protesting. Most protesters held homemade signs sharing their First Amendment protected right to share their opinions on ICE, President Trump or telling the people to RESIST.
