Etna HS: State of Jefferson Invitational

Etna HS Wrestling had another outstanding weekend at their home tournament that they co-
hosted with Yreka HS on Jan 10 th at the State of Jefferson Invitational.

The Girls team took second place in the tournament with individual first place finishes by Kate Early (105), Arabelle Starr (130), Carmie Downey (145) and Shelby Martin (155).

The Boys had an exceptional tournament as well, with Aiden Beal (132) 1^st , Theran Isbell (175) 1^st , Blake Hansen (150) 3^rd , Jacob Holland (150) 4^th , Cruz Downey (165) 4^th , and Ian Shelton (165) 5^th .

Upcoming events include the Corning Invite (Boys) on Jan 17^th at Corning HS, an Away Dual with Yreka HS on Jan 23^rd , and the final regular season tournament with the Corning Invite (Girls) on Jan 24^th at Corning HS. After that, the Lions will roar into the Sectionals/Division/Masters/State Tournament gauntlet. Stay tuned for more updates!
