Twenty-four year old Redding resident, Michael Kennith Jorgenson, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, October 26 at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.
Michael was born on to his mother, Sandra Jorgenson, on March 4, 2001 in Mount Shasta, and he was raised by his family in Big Springs. At the age of 17, Michael got his start in tree trimming, which carried over to a career in tree work, roofing, and construction. Michael married Briana Mullenary in 2021, and the couple made their home in Redding with their three children.
Michael loved his kids, who were his world. He enjoyed working, playing video games, and playing music on his guitar. Michael was a rock-hound – always seeking out rocks worthy of a collection!
Michael leaves behind his loving wife, Briana and their three children: Noah, Jade, and Lora; his mother, Sandra Jorgenson; aunt and uncle Lora and Lyle Facey; grandfather Lyle Facey Sr.; grandmother Shelley Jorgenson; a brother, Wyatt; and many other family members and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his siblings, Luke and Leia; and his grandparents Michael Jorgenson Sr. and Cynthia Facey.
