James (Jimmy) Dee Cramer II, 49, of Fort Jones, passed away unexpectedly on October 6, 2025.
Jimmy was born on October 14, 1975 in Medford to James (Jim) and Nina Cramer. After graduating from Etna High School in 1993, he attended the College of the Siskiyous, where he earned a welding certificate, all while logging and working in the woods. His love for operating machinery, mechanics, and fabrication led him to a career centered around heavy equipment and trucking. Jimmyโs exceptional skills as an equipment operator made him a master at whatever task he took onโalways with ease and precision.
Known for his quiet demeanor, Jimmy was a kind, hardworking man who had a great sense of humor. He loved a good laugh, whether it came from a well-timed practical joke or a story shared with friends and family. In his free time, Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoorsโhunting, hiking, and more recently, raising and training his own pack goats.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Trina Cramer; his two sons, Jace (Mariana) Cramer and Jaden Cramer; his stepdaughter, Jasmine Bigham; his mother, Nina Cramer; his brother, Michael (Jamie) Cramer; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Jim Cramer; his grandparents, Bill and Lenora Cramer; and David and Anita Shepard; his step-grandmother, Nan (PeeWee) Cramer; his uncle, Anthony (Lane) Cramer; his aunt, Toni Cramer; his cousins Brian Cramer, Stanley Cramer, Robert (Bob) Gee, David Gee and Brienne Toroni.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a memorial to Scott Valley Pleasure Park in Jimmy’s name.
A celebration of Jimmyโs life will be held in the Spring of 2026 at the Cramer Ranch, up Moffett Creek.
