The November 4, 2025 Consolidated Statewide Special Election is fast approaching, and Siskiyou County Clerk Laura Bynum encourages all eligible voters to participate in this election.
All registered voters will be mailed a vote by mail ballot starting the week of October 6th. If any voter hasnโt received their ballot by October 14th, please contact the County Clerkโs Office at 530-842-8084, or you can email [email protected]. Those who choose to vote the vote by mail ballot are encouraged to return it via the USPS, the drop box located outside our office, in person, or have someone they know and trust to return their ballot and not entrust their ballot to a stranger to return. If returning your ballot via the USPS, ballots must have a postmark on or before November 4th.
Voter Information Pamphlets, or also known as Sample Ballot Booklets, will be included in the envelope with the vote by mail ballot, and will contain information on local measures and candidates, if applicable to your voting precinct.
For voters who choose to vote at the polls, Mrs. Bynum encourages those voters to take the ballot they receive in the mail to surrender at the polls on Election Day. This will save time for voters as poll workers will not need to call the Clerkโs Office to have the vote by mail ballot voided. If you need assistance in finding your exact poll location, please feel free to contact the County Clerkโs Office at 530-842-8084.
The Siskiyou County Clerkโs Office is located at 311 Fourth Street, Room 201, Yreka; and is open Monday โ Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.; telephone (530) 842-8084. The ballot drop box is available to voters 24/7 starting October 6th, up to the close of the polls on Election Day, November 4, 2025 at 8 p.m.
