Siskiyou County’s Week Under the Stars

Sunday, August 25th – The Great Green Waveย The cosmic alignment on this Sunday brought forth what can only be described as “Marijuana Cultivation Monday” arriving a day early. The universe seemed to whisper to law enforcement exactly where to look, as Yang Ka Soua, Mao Vang, Somsee Yang, and Teng Thao all found themselves facing cultivation charges. Perhaps Mercury was in retrograde for aspiring horticulturists, or maybe the stars simply said “time’s up” on outdoor growing season.

Monday, August 26th – Domestic Storms and Heavy Karmaย The celestial energy shifted dramatically as Monday brought heavier charges to Siskiyou County. Elvin Largo’s arrest for serious domestic violence and weapons charges suggested the stars were no longer playing gamesโ€”when the universe decides it’s time for accountability, it doesn’t whisper.

Tuesday, August 27th – The Day of Reckoningย Tuesday arrived like a cosmic freight train, with the stars apparently deciding that half the county needed a reality check simultaneously. From Shane Long’s DUI to Austin Swain’s $150,000 bail for burglary charges, the universe seemed to be saying “let’s clear the slate.”

Wednesday, August 28th – Midweek Mayhem Under Virgo’s Watchย The universe seemed particularly interested in substance-related issues this day, with multiple arrests involving controlled substances and paraphernalia. Perhaps the stars were suggesting it was time for the county to examine its relationship with various forms of escape.

Thursday, August 29th – The Cosmic Convergenceย If Tuesday was a freight train, Thursday was the entire cosmic railroad system converging on Siskiyou County. Nine separate individuals found themselves in custody, ranging from Manuel Avelino’s collection of warrants to Vittorio Zaccaglini’s weapons charges. The Jefferson Inn proved to be a particularly unlucky location under Thursday’s stars, while the YMCA learned that even fitness facilities aren’t immune to cosmic intervention.

Friday, August 30th – The Friday Night Cosmic Light Showย Friday brought the week’s grand finale with a spectacular display of poor decision-making under the full cosmic spotlight. Allison Bock managed to accumulate carjacking, grand theft, domestic violence AND DUI charges in one arrest, earning herself a $100,000 bail and the unofficial title of “Most Cosmically Ambitious Criminal of the Week.” The stars seemed particularly active around Weed (naturally), while DUIs bloomed across the county like wildflowers after rain.

Saturday, August 31st – Saturn’s Cleanup Crewย Saturday arrived with the cosmic equivalent of a cosmic janitor, methodically sweeping up the week’s remaining loose ends. Christopher Howell’s multiple warrants and Robert Morrison’s vehicle theft spree indicated that Saturn’s influence was still strongโ€”no one escapes the cosmic cleanup crew.

Sunday, September 1st – The Cosmic Cool Downย Sunday brought a merciful decrease in arrest energy, with only a handful of individuals discovering that even weekends aren’t free from cosmic accountability. The universe seemed to be saying, “We’re almost done here, just a few more loose ends to tie up.”

Monday, September 2nd – The Cosmic Resetย Monday arrived as the cosmic reset button, with only young Dracen Prohaska’s underage DUI serving as a gentle reminder that even as one cosmic cycle ends, the eternal dance between poor judgment and law enforcement continues.

The universe appeared to be saying: “Time to face the music, folksโ€”the mountain air may be thin, but the arm of the law reaches every altitude.”
