Subject: Urgent Concern Regarding Planned “Free Palestine” Demonstration on June 1st & June 6th at Parker Plaza – Potential Incitement to Violence and Support for Designated Terrorist Organization

Dear Chief of Police

I am writing to you today with profound concern regarding a planned “Free Palestine” demonstration scheduled for Sunday, June 1st, at 4 pm at Parker Plaza in Mt Shasta, organized by a Wesley Andrews, as publicized on Next Door and Facebook. As a Jewish resident of Mt. Shasta, I, along with many others in our community, view the central slogans and symbols of this event as a direct threat, constituting hate speech and potentially crossing into incitement to violence or even material support for a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization.

The key slogan, “from the river to the sea Palestine will be free,” and the anticipated use of the red hand symbol, are not calls for peace or an end to conflict. The red hand symbol, in particular, is a direct glorification of the horrific 2000 Ramallah lynching of two Israeli reservists, where Palestinian perpetrators proudly displayed their blood-soaked hands to a cheering crowd. This symbol, therefore, is not merely a sign of protest but a direct endorsement of brutal violence against Jews. The slogan, “from the river to the sea Palestine will be free,” is unequivocally recognized, and has been explicitly condemned by the U.S. Congress, as a call for the ethnic cleansing and genocide of Jewish people from the land of Israel. This genocidal intent is intrinsically linked to and articulated within the founding charter and ongoing objectives of Hamas, which the United States government has formally designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) under 8 U.S.C. § 1189. These symbols embody Hamas’s absolute, uncompromising ideology, which seeks the eradication of Israel for a Palestinian-only outcome and aims to replace a democratic state with radical Islamist rule.

The promotion of slogans and symbols intrinsically linked to a U.S.-designated FTO’s genocidal ideology raises serious concerns under federal statutes pertaining to material support or resources to terrorist organizations (e.g., 18 U.S.C. § 2339B) and incitement to violence. While the First Amendment protects free speech, it doesn’t extend to speech that directly incites violence against a protected group.

Thank You.

Hello,

A fellow Jewish friend of mine who also lives in Mt. Shasta just sent me a screenshot of a post on Next Door regarding a ‘Free Palestine’ “protest” taking place Sunday, June 6th, 4-6 pm at Parker Plaza. Organized by a Wesley Andrews. “Free Palestine” is a HATE SPEECH slogan that means “Free” of JEWS. It was created by HAMAS, a murderous Terror organization that calls for the ethnic cleansing of all Jews from the land of Israel (our historic indigenous, native homeland). It’s like calling to “Free America” from Native Americans.

It has been voted by congress as Hate Speech, making it formal.

It has been banned by all Social Media platforms (X, Instagram and Facebook) as it violates its rules of conduct regarding Hate Speech. The killer who just murdered 2 innocent Israelis outside a Jewish museum called “Free Palestine”. It’s a call that sends *Nazi* shivers down the spine of Jewish people (actually Jews, not tokenized ones who only wave the banner of ‘my grandfather was a Jew’ when they wish to use it against our people).

To Jewish and Israeli people, and there are many of us on the mountain, a “Pro-Palestine” rally that calls to “Free Palestine” is the same as a KKK rally for black Americans. I understand that protests are legal, however this one is shameful, scary to have reached our sacred mountain that symbolizes love, and need to be treated for what it is – a hate rally. I will also write this to the police but I ask that you do something about this as well. This cannot go unchecked.

Thank you,

  • So what is being said here is that if a person doesn’t support the obvious ethnic cleansing stance of Netanyahu they are anti semitic and pro Hamas. Nothing could be further from the truth. Silencing our rights to express concerns as Americans is a slippery slope that is
already being well-established. Essentially, it’s support Israel or be quiet, and 50,000 + lost lives and aggressive ethnic cleansing is acceptable in our world today.
