The Cougars Men’s Ski Team had great showing last week at Sierra at Tahoe! These boys placed 10th overall out of 38 teams. We don’t want to miss this opportunity to flex on our friendly rivals- The Mount Shasta Bears Men’s Ski ranked 12th. ( :
Senior Andrew Hill ranked 11th overall! Because of his strong showing at State Championships, Andrew was selected to compete in the Western Regional Championships in Wyoming! Congrats Andrew! We are proud of you!
Sophomore Soren Sluss placed 14th overall and Senior Mossie Butler ranked 48th out of 108 male athletes. Senior Samuel Cervantes competed in Giant Slalom and ranked 69th in that discipline. Nice showing Cougar Skiers!
Our sole snowboarder, Elijah Fielder ranked 99th out of 131 male boarders. Great job Elijah!
Shout out to the Mount Shasta Bears. Their Women’s Ski Team tied for 3rd place with Davis and received a Sportsmanship Award. Women’s Boarder, Junior Kaira Rehki, ranked 2nd overall! Women’s Skier Senior Logan Malee pulled a 6th place overall. Awesome work Bears!
