Dear Editor,
As a concerned parent, I am deeply troubled by the growing issue of youth vaping in our community. Children as young as the third grade are being exposed to and even experiment with these harmful products. This early exposure not only poses serious health risks but also increases the likelihood of long-term nicotine addiction.
It is crucial that parents become more aware and educated about the dangers of vaping and the ways these products are marketed to appeal to children. Many vaping devices are discreet and designed to resemble school supplies or toys, making it even harder for parents to recognize the signs. Open conversations at home, along with education in schools, can help empower our children to make healthier choices.
