Alright, pardner, let me give you the lowdown on this week’s roundup in Siskiyou County:
Looks like the local lawmen have been busier than a one-armed cowboy at a lasso contest. They done corralled 33 varmints into the county hoosegow from September 23rd to the 30th. That’s more action than a saloon on payday!
The sheriff and his deputies, along with the town marshals and even them fancy highway patrolmen, have been scoopin’ up all sorts – from your garden variety drunks to some real bad hombres. They even got one fella who’s in deeper than a prairie dog’s basement, with a bond set higher than a mountain top at a cool million smackers.
Seems like the iron horse (that’s the railroad to you city slickers) is bringin’ in trouble from as far as Oregon territory. These out-of-towners are keepin’ our boys in badges on their toes, that’s for sure.
