YREKA – The Siskiyou Golden Fairground was purchased in 1925, and the first fair was held under the direction of the Siskiyou County Fair Association on the new property. Since that time, it has had a few name changes from the Siskiyou County Fair to The Siskiyou County Fair and Paul Bunyon Festival to the current Siskiyou Golden Fairground after the Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair was established.
What a milestone our community has reached – 100 years of community, culture, history and memories. This is your opportunity to be a part of history by submitting the winning theme for the 100th anniversary of our fairground. Themes for the 2025 Fair will be accepted until 5:00pm Friday November 15, 2024.
To enter you can send by mail to –
