Mount Shasta, CA — Sept. 2 — Base Camp Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, based in Mount Shasta, is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of its competitors at the IBJJF Tournaments held in Las Vegas this past weekend. Under the expert guidance of Coach Woody Hosler, five dedicated students represented the academy with remarkable performances, bringing home several prestigious medals.
Highlighting the weekend’s success, blue belt Jacob Cole fought his way to the championship match to contend for the IBJJF World Master’s World Title in the highly competitive Male/Master 3/Ultra-Heavy division. Jake showcased his exceptional skill and determination, ultimately earning the Silver Medal in his division, a testament to his hard work and commitment to the sport.
In addition to Jake’s impressive achievement, novice competitors Michael Roe and William Castaneda both captured Gold Medals in their respective divisions, demonstrating the strength and depth of talent within the Base Camp team. Isaiah Warren also delivered a strong performance, securing a Bronze Medal in his division.
