D1 California Junior High School Rodeo team headed for Iowa State Fair to compete in the nationals. Junior High School rodeo finalist will be competing June 23-29, 2024.
District 1 proudly represents the counties of Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama and Trinity.
The National Junior High Finals Rodeo (NJHFR) is an exciting event held annually at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines. It’s a thrilling competition where the “best of the best” junior high rodeo athletes from across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Australia compete for scholarships, prizes, and the coveted title of world champion.
The NHSRA is excited to announce that we added $𝟭𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 in jackpot money to the NJHFR and NHSFR for 2024!!
That means the total at each event will be:
