Kids Day Festival at Bel Air Park in Weed was the place to be for every Siskiyou County child and family.
The park was filled with games, crafts, raffles, music, food, and shows all aimed for kids and it was all free.
Steve Bryan with Siskiyou Family Community Resource Collaborative hosted this fun and informative event to help educate families and get parents into more activities with their children while building better social connections with all the services available in Siskiyou County.
“This is our 9th Annual Kids Day Festival. Every year it gets bigger and better. This year we had over 1500 people attend.” Bryan continues, “April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. We have over 25 community partners and vendors providing free activities for kids while promoting their services.
