Siskiyou County Clerk-Registrar of Voters Laura Bynum announces that various special districts though out Siskiyou County will hold elections at the November 7, 2023, Special District Election. The candidate filing period for these offices begins Monday, July 17, 2023, and runs through August 11, 2023.
For persons interested in running for a special district position, the necessary paperwork can be obtained from the Siskiyou County Clerk’s Office during regular offices hours.
A list of local offices up for election on November 7th is available online at www.sisqvotes.org. Additionally, Notices of Election, detailing specific offices up for election and the candidate filing process will be published in the legal section of county newspapers on July 19, 2023.
