Michael Duane Chandler was a caring father, brother, son and friend. He left this world suddenly on May 7, 2023 at the age of 41.
Michael was born on March 9, 1982 to John and Corrina Chandler in Mount Shasta. He grew up in Weed, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports and spending time with his family. He was also an adamant rock hunter.
In 2009 Michael had his first daughter, Keira, and the following year he had his second daughter, Eboni. He always said that his girls were the best thing he ever did in life.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Corrina Chandler and his grandparents Floyd and Barbara Hoven. Michael is survived by his father, John Chandler; step mother Michele Chandler; his sisters Amber Super (Taylor) and Mindi Chandler; his daughters, Keira and Eboni Super; his niece Kaylin Ancell; and nephews Anthony and Tyson Super.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Girdner Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life will follow the services at Discovery Park in Yreka.

I didn’t know Michael but I was in grade school with his sister. I’m so sorry for the families loss. I hope they can find peace during this time.
