Scott Watershed Informational Forum (SWIF) hosted by the Scott River Watershed Council.

Please join us on February 22nd, 23rd, and 24th

for the annual Scott Watershed Informational Forum (SWIF) hosted by the Scott River Watershed Council. Come learn about issues and developments concerning our watershed from a diverse array of voices including biologists, local ranchers, hydrologists, representatives from the Yurok and Karuk tribes, ecologists and so many more. Topics include groundwater recharge, forest management, prescribed fire, the Klamath River dam removal, and the important role of beavers. The event begins on the 22nd with 3 field tours to choose from in Scott Valley, followed by a film showing, Kiss the Ground. The next two days will provide an informational forum at the historic Avery Theatre in Etna, CA. To close out the event, a showing of the award-winning film The Beaver Believers will be shown at 2:00pm. This is a no-cost event and promises to be thought- provoking and inspirational. We hope to see you there!
