McCloud Halloween Pub Crawl

By Shareen Strauss

The town of McCloud didn't want to leave anyone out of the holiday 'spirit' on Halloween, so on the Saturday prior, all the taverns opened up for the Halloween Pub Crawl.

Live music wafted from establishments throughout the town as costumed characters wandered to and from, all carrying their Halloween Pub Crawl passports in hopes to score big at the end of the night.

Axe & Rose, The Meat Market, Floyd's Frosty, Sojourn Coffee next door to the McCloud Outdoor Store, American Legion Post 92, McCloud River Inn, McCloud RV Park, and even the Squaw Valley Riding Club known as the Horsemen's, all joined in for the fun with special spooky drinks, food, dancing, and raffles prizes.

Live popular local bands like Ryker Dylan Band, Kolby Stancil, and the Blackwell Brothers played at different establishments.

People from as far as Red Bluff in Shasta County or from Oregon made a weekend out of the Halloween event making their camp at the McCloud RV Park Halloween-themed. Tammy and Warren Frank of the McCloud RV Park are known for throwing a great Halloween costume party with bonfires, free food, and drinks as people danced the night away.
