On August 22, 2022 Jason Deppen was sworn into Office.
Councilman Deppen jumped right in as he is known to do. He studied up and was prepared and ready to do business.
The citizens of Etna have long been proud of Jason for his years of service in the United States Marine Corps.
Jason Deppen's family have been long time residents of Scott Valley and he has a very strong connection to the people and the Valley that we cherish so dearly.

Jason is a take "no bull" type of guy, He is well versed and knows his limits and is eager to learn and take on the challenges of local city government. Being my neighbor, classmate, and long time friend I am looking forward to seeing what he can bring to the table as an Etna City Council Member.
