About This Event
The purpose of a Road Trial is to demonstrate the history & heritage of the Dalmatian breed as horse companion dogs. A Road Trial is a performance event “in the field” where the Dalmatian is tested in off-leash obedience exercises while following a handler on horseback or a horse drawn carriage. Upon successful completion of the obedience exercises the handler & Dalmatian team complete an endurance portion.
