How does a Pokémon Draft work?
Each player receives draft booster packs and builds a deck from only the cards they draft during the event. Everyone begins with the same opportunity, making drafting one of the most exciting and skill-based ways to play Pokémon. After deck construction, players compete in Swiss rounds, where you'll continue playing throughout the event regardless of your record. Instead of being eliminated after a loss, Swiss pairings match Trainers with similar records each round, giving everyone plenty of games and opportunities to improve. It's a fantastic format for both new and veteran players because every match teaches something new.
Every victory counts! For each Best 2 out of 3 match you win, you'll earn a $5 Purple Dragon Games Dragon Coin that can be used as store credit toward future Pokémon products, board games, accessories, snacks, and more. It's our way of rewarding great games while helping you build your next deck or collection.
And because no Trainer should battle on an empty stomach, FREE pizza will be served for all registered players during the event.
