Savannah Kenny

I was born and raised in Siskiyou County. My journey into healthcare has been a long one and I have worked in many different areas before deciding to enter primary care. I completed my initial undergraduate degrees at Shasta College in Redding and was honored to be awarded the McConnell Scholarship in 2007. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Biology with a minor in Nutrition at UC Davis. Along the way I have held many jobs from crisis counselor for domestic violence and sexual assault to managing a private oncology clinic in San Francisco. After living in SF for 8 years, it became clear to me that life in the city wasn’t for me. I decided to move back home and had to make a choice about what I was going to do that would not only pay rent but make a meaningful contribution to my community.
