Red Scarf Society for the Performing Arts is pleased to welcome back to Siskiyou County the TAKE3 Trio, with their most recent production, “Jukebox Rock”. With this program TAKE3 pays tribute to the hits of the 70’s, featuring the Beatles, Billy Joel, Elvis, The Carpenters and more. They will be performing on Saturday, October 11th at Yreka High School Performing Arts Center, 431 Knapp Street, Yreka, CA. The performance begins at 7:00 pm and the doors will open at 6:30 pm. Please join us for an evening of pure musical enjoyment.
TAKE3 was created by violinist/vocalist Lindsay Deutsch, Yanni’s featured violin soloist with whom she has toured throughout most of the 7 continents. Ms. Deutsch began her career as a classical soloist, performing concerti with symphony orchestras around the country. Lindsay is joined by cellist Mikala Schmitz and pianist Tomomi Sato.
Pioneers in their unique genre of crossover/pop, the vocal/instrumental, trio of TAKE3 is celebrated for weaving, seamlessly, throughout musical styles with jaw dropping virtuosity. Their fierce energy is combined with charm, wit, and easy camaraderie with audiences, making them a crowd favorite wherever they perform.
Ticket price – Adults $30, $35 at the door; $5 for students
