Friday morning is a good time to be in Dunsmuir, CA at Manfredi’s. Tourists and travelers from out of town have called the place “the Dunsmuir Valero gas station”, but to the locals it’s known simply as Manfredi’s.
Tony and Eileen Congi are the husband and wife team who put together this gastronomic delight every Friday morning in Dunsmuir; and you better get there quick, because it goes fast! Often, the broccoli salad and crab salad are sold out before noon.
In addition to pork ribs, beef tri-tip and chicken sizzle on the BBQ.
$18.83, including tax, will buy you three pork ribs, a heaping portion (?Pint?) of broccoli salad, and a heaping portion of crab salad. A great deal, considering the rising cost of food these days.
