Scott Valley residents and businesses may have noticed the brand-new paint job for the Scott Valley Grange building in Greenview in June and July. Many thanks to citizens, businesses and organizations in Scott Valley who contributed to the funds needed to get this project done this summer. Contributors and attendees at our March Pie-and-Cake auction, the Valley-wide yard sale, the square dances, the contra dances, dinners and BBQs, along with several other fundraisers in 2024 and 2025, made it happenโall of the donations went to accomplishing this beautification of the historic Grange building. Many private citizens donated, as well as Mechanics Bank, Scott Valley Lions, Fort Jones Lions, and Fort Jones Lumber. We could not have done it without all of the community support. Mike Tsuckerman and his crew of painters at Valley Concepts did the excellent job of giving our building a new face!
To celebrate the new facelift, the Grange will be having a โcoming outโ barbeque at their general membership meeting of Monday, August 4th, at 6PM. The public and Grange members are welcome. The monthly meeting will be held at this time as well. New memberships are welcome. Come by and see your โnewโ Scott Valley Grange!

It’s been wonderful being part of this from the beginning. Now just wait until we get our commercial kitchen up and running! Thanks to all who contributed their time cash and labor to this improvement and to revitalizing this grange.
