The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office invites residents to attend a series of Public Safety Community Meetings throughout the county. These important gatherings will bring together representatives from numerous county and city departments to discuss recent initiatives, gather community feedback, and share vital safety updates.
Meeting Schedule
All meetings will run from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the following locations:
- Dorris: Thursday, May 8th
- Montague: Tuesday, May 13th
- Happy Camp: Thursday, May 15th
- Scott Valley (Fort Jones): Thursday, June 19th
- McCloud: Thursday, June 26th

- 7:00 PM: Welcome & Introductions
- 7:15 – 7:45 PM: Presentations from Sheriff LaRue, County OES, CalFire, Code Enforcement, and the Disaster Resilience Specialist
- 7:45 – 8:30 PM: Q&A session with public safety panel
- 8:30 PM: Meeting conclusion
These meetings provide an excellent opportunity for community members to engage directly with local officials, learn about public safety initiatives, and share your concerns and questions.
